Bank of Japan board members Toshikatsu Fukuma and Atsushi Mizuno, who had each been making separate proposals to cut the central bank's account balance target, have jointly proposed such a reduction to the board since October, Kyodo News reported Tuesday. The joint proposal will be published in the BOJ's board meeting minutes due Wednesday, the news agency said. The BOJ is scheduled Wednesday to release minutes for the one-day board meeting on Oct 31, and the two-day meeting ended Nov 18.
